The ground rules.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. Users aged 13–17 may use Suapon AI only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf. Suapon AI is built primarily for students enrolled at a Ghanaian tertiary institution, but enrolment is not required — anyone who meets the age requirement is welcome to use the service.

2. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Upload or redistribute paywalled commercial content (e.g. pirated textbooks, paid course packages, leaked exam papers) to which you do not have legitimate access.
• Scrape, crawl, or attempt to download in bulk any content from university portals, learning management systems or third-party paid platforms.
• Use Suapon AI to plagiarise, cheat on a live or invigilated exam, or otherwise commit academic misconduct. AI-generated outputs are a study aid, not something to submit as your own work where that is disallowed by your institution.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the security or availability of the service.
• Upload illegal content, malware, or content that infringes anyone's rights.

Student uploads of lecture notes, personal summaries, past questions you legitimately possess, and similar learning materials stay within the legitimate-access provisions of these Terms so long as they are kept private to your account and not redistributed.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans (Monthly Premium, Semester Premium) are billed in Ghana Cedis (GHS) via Paystack using the card or mobile-money method you provide.
• Monthly plans auto-renew every month until cancelled. Semester plans are a one-time payment for the stated duration (e.g. 4 months) and do not auto-renew unless stated at checkout.
• You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
• Refunds: we offer a refund on your first paid subscription if you request it within 7 days of the charge. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect the current billing period you've already paid for.

4. Intellectual property

Your uploads. You retain full ownership of the course materials, notes and files you upload. You grant Suapon AI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process and analyse those materials solely to provide the service to you (generate lessons, quizzes, tutor responses, summaries and the like). This licence ends when you delete the material or your account.

AI-generated outputs. Suapon AI and FAAB Systems Ghana Limited retain all right, title and interest in the service itself, our software, prompts, models, pedagogy, brand and the AI-generated outputs of the service. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use AI-generated outputs for your own study; you may not resell, redistribute, or build a competing service on top of them.

Training. We do not use your uploaded materials or personal activity to train AI models, and our AI providers are contractually prevented from doing so with your inputs.

5. Disclaimers

Suapon AI is a study aid. It is not a substitute for your official course material, lectures, or your lecturer's instructions. AI-generated content can contain errors, omissions or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying anything important against authoritative sources before relying on it.

We make no guarantee of any particular academic result, grade or exam outcome. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FAAB Systems Ghana Limited's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or GHS 500, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or pose a security or legal risk. Where practical we will give you notice and a chance to fix the issue. On termination, access to paid features ends and we will delete your data per our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your place of residence say otherwise.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or an in-app banner before they take effect. Continued use of Suapon AI after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
